The Australian Schools Rugby Union is seeking applications for the Australian Schools and Australian Barbarians teams to play the Tongan Schoolboy team in Sydney in September this year.

A MEMBER OF THE ASRU WILL BE IN TOUCH WITH EVERY APPLICANT ONCE THE SELECTION PANEL HAS REVIEWED ALL APPLICATIONS
The management and coaching staff from the 2022 ASRU Schoolboys tour of Japan will continue in 2023.
There is a vacancy for the Assistant Coach for the Australian Schoolboys Team.
Applications are also being sought for the following positions with the Australian Barbarians Boys Team :
- Manager
- Head Coach
- Assistant Coach
The above appointments for both teams are for 2023 only.
Applicants are asked to apply for either a coaching or managing position. Preference will be given to applicants who have coached or managed at this level previously or who have coached or managed at the national championships.
Applicants need to be available to be in Sydney from Thursday, 21 September to Friday, 29 September. When the tour dates are confirmed with the Tongan team, the exact commitment will become clearer. The games will be played in the above window.
