The Global Youth Sevens are back on the Sunshine Coast, 12–13 December 2026, and your team can register now.

In 2023, the first-ever Australian Schoolgirls Sevens team went through the tournament undefeated to win the inaugural Global Youth Sevens competition to be held in Australia.It was an extraordinary week.

The team’s success generated more than 11 million views on this Facebook page alone, providing enormous exposure for the Australian Schoolgirls Sevens team and girls’ school sport in Australia.

It was the second most-viewed sporting event in the country that week, behind only the Australia v Pakistan men’s cricket Test match.

Three years later, the Global Youth Sevens are back.

There are six grades, including U14 boys and girls, U16 boys and girls, and U18 boys and girls. The U18 tournament is an international event with teams expected from Dubai, USA, Canada, and New Zealand.
